He has led Natura through the transition from an old direct selling company to an innovative, digital one. The company's digitalization resulted in productivity growth and 17 consecutive quarters growth.

In January, Natura &Co plans to begin trading shares using ADRs on the New York Stock Exchange. This will allow the company to maximize synergies between its brands, as well as extend its product portfolio and reach 200 million people across the globe.

To propel the next stage of growth the company has appointed an entirely new leadership team. Roberto Marques will serve as the Group Chief Executive Officer, and Angela Cretu, will manage the company's global operations. She will oversee the management and operations of Natura outside of Latin America.

Prior to joining Natura, Joao Paulo spent twenty years at Unilever in which he held a variety of positions including Vice President of Supply Chain. His last job at the company was Vice President of Operations & Logistics.

Angela Cretu

The new CEO of Avon is Angela Cretu, a veteran of Avon and its leadership team. With more than 20 years of experience in the management of a leading beauty brand, Cretu is poised to be the leader of the company's global operations and innovating.

Avon CEO, Susanne J. Johnson, has been a long-standing advocate for women all over the world and has taken up the idea of gender equality. She has been involved in numerous campaigns to encourage positive change for women in developing countries. Among the most notable are those that fight violence against women and promote women's economic empowerment.

Fernando J. Acosta

Acosta is a senior executive leader at Avon. He joined the company in 2011 as Senior Vice President and President Latin America and was recently named Chief Marketing and Social Selling Officer. The position will report directly to Charles Herington, the Company's Executive Chairman.

He worked for many years at Unilever before joining Avon. He has extensive experience building consumer-oriented companies in emerging markets. In addition to his position at Avon as a CEO, he is also an board member and investor at RoC Skincare in New York.

As Chief Marketing and Social Selling Officer, he is responsible for the evolution of the brand experience at Avon. He also oversees the creation and implementation of the new social selling strategy that is digital.

Fernando Acosta began his career at Unilever as an employee trainee. He has worked in Europe as well as the United Kingdom. Later, he held top-level positions within Unilever's Latin American operations.

He was the Category President for Latin America at Unilever from 1999 to 2004. His duties included overseeing some of the most recognizable brands of the company such as Dove. He was also involved with the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty that launched new products such as Pro Age.

Following his time as senior vice president of Unilever's Middle Americas division, he moved to an international position. He was Brand President of Dove Global at Unilever from 2006 until 2008. During this period, he was located in New York.

He was previously the Regional President for Latin America at Avon. His responsibility included driving sales, defining the brand's Latin American strategy, and helping to develop innovative products such as Pro Age.

Avon has a long and rich background and a wide array of products available to look through, but one segment that has stood out from the rest in recent years is its Health and Wellness division.
