Eufy's main selling point with the X8 is its laser navigation. Previous Eufy devices have built up an outline of your home utilizing infrared sensors and bumping into things but the X8's laser mapping technology is much more accurate. It's effective at picking up pet hair. It has a higher percentage of hair removal than the Roborock S7.

3. Miele RX2

Miele's RX2 robotic vacuum is renowned for its quiet, powerful appliances. It is a stunning design, excellent navigation and a powerful cleaning power. There are a few niggles in its operation that prevent it from being considered the best smart robot vacuum.

Its navigational skills were impressive as well and its overall score on carpet and bare floors beat out the competition, and it took in 98.5 percent of surface litter and embedded pet hair from our laboratory test samples.

The controls are simpler than the competition's.
