It's not a fantastic cat litter picker, though our tests have shown it is able to remove around 90% of the fur from hard floors.

There's a basic mopping mode which uses the same water tank as the vacuuming. While this is a good option for spills that aren't too big however, you aren't able to regulate the amount of water it uses and this will reduce its effectiveness for more serious staining. It does, however, do an excellent job of picking up pet hair, with a better speed of pickup than the Roborock S7.

3. Miele RX2

Awarded for its quiet and efficient home appliances Miele's RX2 robot vacuum is a great choice because of its cleaning power, gorgeous design and excellent navigation. But it has a few operational oddities that prevent it from being ranked as the best overall smart robot vacuum.

The RX2 is equipped with a dual-sensor mapping system that makes use of LIDAR to map a room and a pair of 3D scanning cameras for detecting and avoiding obstacles (such as furniture legs or pet waste). It was able to climb over the thick shag carpets and was not stuck (unlike the RoboVac 11s or Roomba 690-). Its navigation capabilities were impressive. Its composite score for carpet and bare flooring beats the competition and it was able to pick up 98.5 percent of pet hair that we tested in our lab samples.

Its controls are a bit more basic than those of the competitors. There's an uniform cleaning button on the top and you can launch it via the app or via voice commands using Alexa or Google Assistant.
